Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

PSD + transparency = white outlines

I want to know, how would you guys export 2D semitransparent layers from PSD for import to UE4 (and have correct borders/alpha). Exporting TGA files (videotutorial here http://youtu.be/oh2WGL8hvPo ) from every PSD is time consuming. Also when I make edit of PSD, I have to re-export new TGA that have different positions and re-import in UE4 make mess with whole scene.

There must be a simple way, how save PSD with correct alpha and imprort it in to UE4.

There is test PSD: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0uYVWhdF5Dcc2R0M1NNSFhjbk0/view?usp=sharing There is edited TGA: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0uYVWhdF5DcQW1NckRzMEhVMEU/view?usp=sharing There is screenshot of imported PSD: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0uYVWhdF5DcYnA0YVo2TDhFbzQ/view?usp=sharing There is screenshot of imported TGA: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0uYVWhdF5DcUnZaelpYUFNLN2c/view?usp=sharing

What is wrong with my PSD? How can I get off that white outline? Thanks for any help.

It seems like the way PSD files are imported is just flawed. I also asked about it here, but there doesn't seem to be a solution.

Possibly you could use Photoshop's script event manager to automatically save a TGA copy of your file whenever you save the document.
