Accessing default value of a variable in blueprint

So, how can I access the default value of a variable in blueprint? I miss Default. from uscript.

I have found https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/9608/question-bp-accessing-default-values-of-a-variable.html which describes some method that may have been eventually implemented but has maybe not been?

If it hasn’t been implemented I’m especially interested in the “shouldn’t have to wait too long” bit. That post was dated a little over a year ago.
