I’m fairly new to the engine and trying to set up controls for a perspective top down game.
I’m having two issues at the moment I feel like having tried to resolve for decades now and if I want to keep my hair I really need some help here.
The most pressing is the movement I just can’t get right.
So far the player character looks towards the cursor and is supposed to move accordingly.
For the forward movement it works flawlessly.
For moving in the opposite direction however it doesn’t. Same for strafing.
It looks like there’s some conflict with it’s rotation that makes it kind of jitter.
Additionally the position the player is targeting seems to be slighty off. It probably has something to do with how the cursor’s position is evaluated but I just don’t know how to fix this.
I’ve downloaded the whole internet by now to find anything related to my issues so help would be greatly appreciated.
