Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Missing the Shape Section for a Sphere in Blueprint Window UE 4.7.3

I have added a sphere to a Blueprint and was trying to adjust the radius of it. I do not see A Shape Section in the details panel. I have expanded all sections and checked other panels just in case. If I add a SphereCollision there is a Shape Section, however.

I'm following a tutorial for UE 4.3 while I'm using 4.8.1 and it refers to the Shape section as well. Did you manage to resolve this?

Oh, I figured this out: the component should be Sphere Collision, not Sphere. Dump explanation in the book I'm reading.
