Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can't edit particle system like "P_vectorfield" in v4.7.3

I recently upgraded to UE 4.7.3 and I'm trying to address issues that I'm encountering. One issue I noticed is with the base Example Content that comes with Unreal Engine.

When I try opening "P_vectorfield" in my project using UE 4.7.3, nothing gets displayed. I tried changing the view modes from "lit" to "unlit" and vice-versa and still can't see it. I discovered this when I realized that it doesn't get rendered in my game any longer having switched over to UE 4.7.3. Other particle systems do get displayed and I'm able to see them in UE 4.7.3 Editor, however.

I don't have any issue when using UE 4.4.3.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
