Weird weapon Blueprint

Currently I am using the shootergame and trying out weapon design using the blueprints. When I create my own weapon it has three weird things that I can not understand happening. if anyone knows whats wrong please fill me in as I have checked settings and although I could have missed something I am not sure what.

  1. Although the mesh is setup up the same as the included ones it appears rotated - I am not using custom content only utilizing the existing weapon meshes
  2. Weapon fire fx is stuck in a loop and keeps running after firing has stopped
  3. the weapon spawns in at origin in the map when not equipped as seen in the picture

If you could share your Blueprint(s) it might help locate the issue, right now you’re only providing a problem and an extremely dark picture (What are we supposed to be seeing?).

What you’re seeing is the weapon currently unequipped sitting at 0,0,0 firing.
I made it dark as it was harder to see it in a very bright scene.

All I did was create a blueprint based off of shooterweapon_instant add the launcher mesh and tweak the config for weapon damage and fire rate.

I did also to try to resolve this config it EXACTLY like the WeapGun blueprint.
