[Request] Expose Landscape Functionality in Engine

Hi,

As I understand, most of the functionality to generate or alter landscape geometry is implemented in the editor, and this is fantastic for games that ship with a predefined landscape, or one without need for changes. But this limits the capabilities of games that might want to alter the landscape (think digging, craters, etc.), or generate landscape geometry, whilst still taking advantage of all the benefits of UE4’s great landscape functionality.

I’ve seen it brought up a few times, but I don’t think anyone’s made a specific feature request for it. So is it possible to have the advantages of landscapes at runtime, or are all of the advantages strictly required to be cooked in-editor?
