4.7.3 Set Input Mode to `Game and UI`

Hello, I got a simple switch to show my mouse in the game ( to move skills and items, etc…) but when i switch the input mode to game and ui my character stops moving. Is this normal? If yes, is there a way i can make it that my character just keeps walking? (Switching to game only doesn`t cause that problem)

Do what Skyrim did. In the PC version of the game you can toggle automatic walking. Just use an add movement input node after a branch.

Well, i dont really want automatic walking, i just want the character not to stop when showing the mouse, if the player is still pressing w. but while showing the mouse he should still be able to stop by just stop pressing w`. I mean after the mouse shows up and i make another movement in any direction, the character moves like normal again.

I don’t actually figure out why it stops walking. I did the same and I can walk around. Plus, I can look around if I hold the right mouse button down.

I’ll think on this and try to come up with an answer.

I can walk around as well, thats not the problem. but only if i press w again while the mouse is shown. when walking and showing mouse he stops at the moment i show the mouse, but after i make a new movement input he moves again.

Have you found a solution yet? This is bugging me too…

No, it is still stopping my character.

This problem is very annoying. Did you manage to figure it out?

No, im sorry, also even in the newer Versions the Problem still shows up.

I see. So far I’ve found out that it resets the axis whenever the set input mode is activated. I made a forum post but so far there aren’t any answers which have solved this problem.

Hey, i`m now on Unreal 4.15 and the thing still goes on.
I really dont know what to do about it. Has anyone found a solution yet?
