UE4 editor crashes often when moving a panel between two monitors

Hi there!

last couple of days, UE4 has crashed quite often when various panels/windows has been placed between two monitors. Everything just freezes and UE4 needs to be closed down using task manager. Thankfully, your autosave function seems to do wonders, so no work lost yet  Just thought I`d let you know.

I`ll do that next time it crashes! Thanks for quick reply!

Hey brokenpoly,

Can you tell us your system specs and OS version? Would you attach latest log before freezing, as well? Thanks!

I had same issue. But freeze also happens when you move a window while something is in process, like shader compilation. And it happens all time. I’m afraid to touch any window right now.

Ok. Got another crash while trying to move a matinee window this time. log file ended up being around 110 megs before I managed to shut down editor hard way & most of log consisted of this message:

“[2014.03.31-21.35.03:190][950]LogSlate: Slate: Had to block on waiting for a draw buffer”

Im attaching logfile as a txt file (wasnt allowed to upload a .log file it seems), but deleted thousands of lines with same error message as above. You`ll also find system specs below:

Hope it helps!
