Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Modulated decal on a lightmapped surface

Is there any way to make a decal show up on a lightmapped surface using the modulate blend mode? "Stain" decal blend mode doesn't work with lightmaps. "DBuffer translucent color" overwrites the color and since the scene color node doesn't work I can't even do the multiply operation inside the decal material.

Just came searching for the same thing. This would be a very useful thing to have.

Hi ZoltanE -

Currently the Modulated Blend Mode offered in the Stain Decal is not available in a static lighting situation. We have recently entered a feature request to add some limited support for this type of decal support, for reference UE-11981.

Thank You -
