I do work at a coffee shop that has slow internet. Upload all I needed from home the other day so it was all ready to go. Got to my spot, logged in and now it’s updating. It will not finish this update for the next few hours. Is it possible to hold all updates until I’m connected to a faster wifi?
Just found out I can at least pull up my projects from the library while it updates.
I was able to start a new project. This question has already been answered by pressing buttons. Sorry to waste the time of anyone reading this and hopefully it helps someone.
So my understanding is I have to go to library start a current project and then start a new project if UE is updating.

I would not recommend having UE4 running while the download is in progress as this will probably cause the installation to fail.
However, If the launcher ever requires a UE4 update, you can manually launch instead. UE4 can be manually launched from the following location:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\4.7\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UE4Editor.exe
If you are running an engine version other than UE4.7 just change 4.7 to the version number of the engine you want to launch.
