Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

ART FK/IK switch twists limbs

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with the Rig created via ART :O

when I switch between IK and FK it starts twisting my limbs. and that happens for arms and legs.
here's a couple of pictures to illustrate the problem.

any idea what I could do about that? :/

the model needs to be in a pretty extreme pose and I could not pose her properly with IK on, so I pretty much have to pose her in FK first and then switch back to IK, however, as you can see it breaks things.

I found out that the orient constrained has some rotation values baked in that kind of 'activate' when I switch IK/FK; but I don't know how to fix it? all of the nodes are firmly locked. I also tried to go all the way back to skeleton placement and then rebuild the rig from there, but to no avail.

any idea what else I could do to fix the rotation problem?

thanks

hi i know it's an old post but in case for others try to apply a euler filter on the rotations curves its may be just a 360 rotation of the shoulder
