Engine Installation hang on 7%

-I I disabled my antiVirus
-I I did Run it As admin.
-I I restarted both my computer and Launcher.

Also it was about 89% when it Stacked, but after restarting it , it stack on 7%

Hi,

In you log it says that you have a lot of prevous instalations. Please try to clean all your folders from ue4 files, inclusive registry, appdata and temp. Please let me know if this helps you.

didn’t fix the issue

I had this problem myself, if found it very hard to delete ALL files of UE4.

My steps:

  • Unistall epic game launcher in the control panel.
  • Opened TreeSize (File finder application)
  • Searched through all folders and deleted all content of UE4 and Epic. This included e.g. Program files, App Data, Temp, Common, Etc.
  • Run a full registry cleaner multiple times (CC Cleaner)
  • Rebooted the computer and ran regestry cleaner again.
  • Opened TreeSize and checked if any files were still present.
  • If any files were still present ran registry cleaner again and rebooted and ran registry cleaner again.
  • Installed clean UE4 version and it worked again.

PS: Does your computer support the UE4 system requirements? I see previously UE4 items but still asking. It could be potentialy be Hard Disk space or not enough memory.

Well, I already deleted al files that I can delete + all registry as u did, However I’m still downloading the game once again and I hope this not happening again since my connection is so slow

My system completely meets UE4 system requirement, However, In the log file this message it seems the problem :
LogFileManager:Error: Error deleting file

let’s see how this work after finishing downloading
