Can we quit download and resume it later?

I meant that should we download the entire 7 gb file in one go or can we do like, download 2 gb, shut down the computer, and turn it on and download the remaining at a later time or will i lose the files i have already downloaded?

Yes, you can quit during download, and it will resume the next time you run the UE4 launcher.
