I haven’t been able to launch U4 on this computer so far. My specs are:

  • Win 7 Pro (JP)
  • Service Pack 1
  • Intel Xenon CPU e5-1620 v2 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz
  • RAM 16 GB
  • Oculus DK2 plugged in

Any help to this would be much appreciated.

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick question:

  1. When you say that you have not been able to launch the engine on this computer, do you mean that you have been unable to launch any version of the engine?
  2. I see that you mentioned that you are using an oculus, does unplugging it or placing it in extended mode make a difference when trying to launch?
  3. Is your oculus runtime up to date?
  4. If so, are you using a laptop?
  5. Does this happen when trying to open a clean project?
