Randomize without replacement doesn't work (sound cue)

Hi!
Using this setup I can’t get the “randomize without replacement” to work. When true, it clearly doesn’t do what it’s supposed to, it only guarantees that one sound doesn’t replay immediately. However, the descriptions says that ALL other sounds in the set must be played before repeat, but this doesn’t work. Is it a bug or is the description wrong?

(I use unreal 4.7.4)

Hey Accel,

After a little bit of testing, I can confirm what you are reporting. I attempted to play three different sounds with the same set up as the image you provided using the ‘Randomize Without Replacement’, and discovered it plays some sounds again before playing the un-played sounds as the Tooltip indicates.

I have gone ahead and entered a bug report for this issue UE-13319. One thing I did notice was this issue is more apparent with longer audio tracks like music or ambient sounds. I ran a test using short sounds for playback and testing purposes and noticed it occurs almost every other time.

Random Sounds Set Up

The first playback functioned as expected when using the ‘Randomize Without Replacement’, but after the first iteration of the sounds playing once through, the consistency of this function degraded. With that in mind, thank you for taking the time to report this issue, and if you have any further questions or need additional assistance please let us know.

Cheers,
