[Feature Request] Save instance as default

Put in a button to save the instance values as default.

Unity does this with its prefabs.

It would be very handy for UE4 to have something similar.

It could also be used as a workaround for something like this

I do believe what you’re asking for is already implemented. (Assuming you’re talking about instances of blueprints in the world)

Select the instance of the blueprint in the world, then in the ‘Details’ panel, there will be a blue drop-down/button called ‘Edit Blueprint’. Click on that, and within the ‘Instance Modifications’ sub heading, you have the option to ‘Apply Instance Changes to Blueprint’, as well as ‘Reset Instance Changes to Blueprint Default’.

The former option is most likely the one you are looking for, similar to Unity’s ‘Apply’, and the latter is similar to Unity’s ‘Revert’ for prefabs.
