[BUG] UMG - Blueprint Drag and Drop Performance Issue - Big FPS Drop

Hi,

I am experiencing an big FPS drop when drag and dropping a UMG widget using the Create DragDropOperation node.

This is tested in an empty level, using PIE - New Editor Window (same happens in Stand Alone Mode)

Before dragging object (120.00 FPS)

While dragging object (58.83 FPS)

In a populated level, the FPS drops by 15 to 20 FPS around (from 60 to 30 something). It looks as if it’s dropping the FPS by half.

Is it related to this (creating a second window and affecting the rendering and the FPS)?

“It does seem that when you use drag-drop operation it creates a new temp window, in windowed mode or in windowed-fullscreen this isn’t much of an issue. But in proper fullscreen that temp window containing the default drag visual is drawn between the desktop and the fullscreen game. I’m sure they’ll come up with a solution.”
