Buying a laptop for UE4 development, How well would it run?
I've seen a laptop that is currently on sale that looks like it might have decent specs, Just wondering how the engine would perform with these follow specs posted below.
Laptop model: XMG P304 13.3" InchsGaming Laptop
If more information is needed, I'll do my best to provide more details.
After looking at your laptop specifications, I'd say that your laptop will run Unreal Engine. I checked and your graphics card is DX11 compatible, which is needed. However, I would suggest eventually upgrading the RAM because the Engine takes a lot to run, especially when you're working with heavy projects, or building a project.
Listed below is the specifications for UE4, you can find out more from this link.
What are Unreal Engine 4's system requirements? For developing with UE4, we recommend a desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later, 8 GB RAM and a quad-core Intel or AMD processor, and a DX11 compatible video card. UE4 will run on desktops and laptops below these recommendations, but performance may be limited.
