Specular highlights for translucent materials

At the moment, specular highlights for translucent materials (i.E. glass, water) doesn’t work.

Are you guys working on this? Because this is a serious showstopper for some projects.

Otherwise UE4 rocks.

Epic has said that they’d like to make significant improvements to translucency, but that they won’t be doing it in the near future.

In the meantime dont forget to set Translucency Lighting Model to TLM_Surface and play with Specular and Metallic values to boost reflections.

Yes I read that somewhere.
The thing is, reflections are only one part for believable glass/water. You still need the specular highlights.
