Visual glitches with brush objects (geometrically modified)

Hi,

I’m sure this has been brought to attention but I couldn’t find a thread on this specific issue…

For example, after any brush (BSP) has been modified enough, it causes portions of other brushes to be “invisible” .

This is a butchered brush next to a generic box brush, you can see the gap where the background is showing through.

Is there a way to avoid/fix this without converting the culprit into a static mesh and/or adding static meshes to fill the holes?

This is a known issue under UE-12157. Unfortunately at present there are no suitable workarounds for the bug. Outside of moving to static meshes, there is no known workaround at present.
