[Linux] After crash and recovery I can't look around

When duplicating bsp brush with alt-drag unreal crashed, and after the crash if I chose to recover things (didn’t try without recovering) I can’t look around with right mouse button clicked. I can move, I can do things with other buttons, but can’t look around. If I enter play mode I am able to look around.

When this happens happen and you’re unable to look around with the right mouse button does it zoom in and out rather than look around or does it not have any function at all? Rather than clicking and holding to look around with the camera are you able to just click and bring up the right-click menu? If so you may be able to regain movement by doing this and then simply closing the window again.

Additionally I would like to look into the crash you mentioned. It’s possible that resolving the crash will also fix the issue with looking around in the editor. Could you provide any information regarding the crash that you can think of including crash logs and steps to reproduce the crash?

No effect when moving mouse at all, WASDQE works as it should. Bringing menu works, but no effect after restarting UE afterwards, changing viewport window also doesn’t have any effect.

I attached crashinfo folders, but this is built from 3dluvr repo, and as you stated in my second bugreport i should use Epic official so I don’t know if it’s of any help

Sorry for the delayed response. I’m still investigating the crash you reported and mouse controls after recovery but have not had the same behavior. Looking at the log files you provided there is a SIGSEGV error which has already been reported (UE-11671) and is currently being worked on.

Have you noticed the issue with the mouse controls recently and does it still seem associated with the crash? Solving the issue of the crash should prevent the problem with the mouse completely. Let us know if there’s any other information you can think of that would help us reproduce the crash or mouse error.
