Normal map not affecting arreas in shadow (baked lightmaps)

Hi,

I ran into an issue with baked lightmaps (as always). It seems to remove the effect of the normal map on the mesh. The edges become super sharp even though the parts that aren’t affected by the shadow are perfectly fine.

The first image is with the normal map applied, the second one is without any on the sand coloured building.

You’ll need to enable Normal Maps to work with Static lighting in the Project settings > Rendering tab.

There is a check box in there. Try enabling that and see if that helps,
