Texture paint

Hey everybody! I have a static mesh and I want to paint ice and snow on it. I already figured out how to do this via vertex paint. The problem here ist, that the meshes are low poly and since the scene is already big, i dont want to add unnecessary geometry. Is there a simple way to just paint the materials in texture space?

Kind regards, Phil

Any ideas anyone?

Hey there! It might be a bit of a learning curve, but get your mesh from the Unreal Engine over to a program called BLENDER.

After that, enter TEXTURE PAINT MODE, and add a defuse texture.

Within that UI, you can begin to paint your model.

What type of game are you making?
