Animation Preview Playing On Constant loop With Sound When Moused Over

In Persona: the animation in the content browser in the bottom right will play a preview animation when moused over.

These animations seem to continue to play on a loop even when you are no longer moused over them. This would be fine except the sound notifies attached to the anims also play which creates a very chaotic and annoying soundscape when trying to edit sound notifies on a different animation.

Additionally if I double click on Animation A in the bottom right Asset Browser in Persona to open the animation and work on it: the preview for Animation A continues to play even as I have that very same asset open in the main window.

The current workaround I am having to use is find an animation with no sound notifies on it, and mouse over it before I edit the actual animation I have selected. This is not fool-proof or ideal as switching between animations quickly will cause many many many notifies to trigger when quickly mousing over many animations.

Ideally these animations would not continue to play when not moused over or at the very least not have sound play when previewed.

Hi Jack,

I am having trouble reproducing this in 4.7.6. What version are you on?

I have noticed if you happen to use a sound cue with looping enabled and you let it trigger even once, you basically have to close persona to get it to stop playing. I will bug this, but I want to track down the issue that you’re getting.

Hey . 4.7.6 but I have had this issue with previous versions as far back as December.

All sound notifies I am using are oneshot. It is definitely the animation constantly looping within the preview.

Hey Jack,

Can you send me a screenshot of the details panel with one of your notifies selected?

This is a gif of what I have attempted for a repro. Is this exactly what you’re doing? (I’ve added a bunch of sound notifies to the Jumping Jacks anim)
