Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

vinterp to function use?

So I found a function it's an "interp to". The help text for it says it's supposed to help with interpolating a mesh from point A to point B over time. I'm sure I'm setting it up the right way, but if it gets rid of everything I did above that'd be great However right now it is jumping the object from one point to the other where I click.

Anyone know how to use the function the right way? alt text

Hi Sandman,

I'm not sure what your values are for the Delta Time and Interp Speed on the VInterpTo Node, but take a look on how I set it up below. Additionally the "jumping of the object" might also occur due to the Right Mouse Button input initiating the Set Actor Location node (you may want to follow up the input with either a Gate like below or Timeline that updates the Set Actor Location node).

Below moves the statue into the fire over time while the Left Mouse Button is held.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply Wes, So I set it up like you have it, and it currently only has the object moving on one axes to the location of another object. Also it is still jumping to that location, it is now moving. Any thoughts?
