Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Unless you are making over 100k I don't think you need to 'invest' anything. They have a free cloud service for "Personal" use but the personal use seems to be anyone who's company doesn't make 100k gross revenue. If you are making over 100k then I hate you and you can pay the license fee! Just kidding.

1 answer: sort voted first

The roadmap is publicly visible here: https://trello.com/b/gHooNW9I/ue4-roadmap Note that, even if something appears highly-voted and soon-scheduled, things sometimes change with the weather, so until it ships, it's not shipped. Also, I can't even find a polygon simplification tool at all on the roadmap, so it's unlikely to be near term.

Simplygon is good software. If you need its functionality, it's certainly better to pay for that than to build your own :-)
