Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Landscape layers blending

I have a problem when painting landscape with layers . When painting multiple layers they are not blending very nicely , they are squarish at the edges and lining up to grids https://www.dropbox.com/s/m44nv95jly43az3/problem.png I think i already tried everything so it needs to be engine related , UDK was smooth and blending just fine . When i changed blend type to height then it wasn't squaish anymore but also not blending smoothly https://www.dropbox.com/s/rwhc8zvtbuyjsah/problem2.png Is there any fix for this or is it ever gonna be fixed ?

Hard to say what's wrong without seeing your material setup, can you post that too?

Here is my material , i also tried it without blend overlay ( used it to blend with colour map for landscape ) and also tried it with layer weight instead of layer blend , i'm getting same result any way . Same thing for imported and engine made landscape , always having that issue.

Looks like it has to be tool/engine issue , it's been a month since the release and i tried everything , so hopefully it is gonna be fixed .

Fixed the problem , it's funny how small it was , took me a month . First layer had to be alpha blend more while the other need to be height .
