Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Issue with Lighting on joined meshes

Hey all,

I am having some issues with my lighting. I have created all of the meshes in the scene in Blender for an educational project I am working on, I have now brought them into UE4 and am putting the scene together. Upon building the lighting, (which is made up of a mixture of stationary and moveable point lights) I get no errors (I did at first due to overlapping lights but I have altered the attenuation radius' accordinly), however this is the result.

The bands of light coincide directly with the edges of the meshes, which I have carefully placed together as accurately as possible. Can anyone offer me some assistance as to why this is happening and how I can avoid this? It may be worth noting that the light was built at "production" quality.

Kind Regards.
