Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Lightmap problems

Hi all !

I'm a UDK user converted to Unreal 4. I'm having a strange issue with lightmaps.

As you can see on the picture my object is really simple and... crappy, and I don't know why, I have two Uv channels (pictures below) alt text

UV_0 is overlapped (but I think it's not a problem, or it was not in UDK) UV_1 is "clean" (maybe not nicely done, but done...) alt text

I don"t understand why the lightmap is so wrong. This is something that I was doing in UDK... Any help will be appreciated !

Best, Nicolas

Make sure the lightmap channel is set to 1 in the static mesh editor.

Thanks a lot, you're answer is right ! This parameter stayed on "0", I changed it to "1" and everything works fine which is strange in fact, for some objects it was automatic !
