Can see through the wall when close to it

Hi. I’ve just stared using UE4 and faced a problem:

I created Third Person Template and changed my camera to this:

So it looks firstperson-like, but when I get close to wall I can see through it:

I tried to create new project and keep “Camera Boom” but nothing changed.

I ended up with increasing size of Character’s Capsule. (88 → 100, 34 → 55).

That’s one way to do it. The reason you’re seeing through the wall is that the camera was able to get close enough to “clip” through the geometry.

Hi! I know it is a very old post but I am running into the same problem and increasing the size of the capsule is not helping. The geometry I am using for my level (walls) is imported from Sketchup. Whenever I pan or turn using my HTC HMD it clips through it and the whole world turns inside out. Please help asap! thanks!
