Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Will Epic support SBSAR files in Mobile?

Since using Substances is very good to reduce texture file sizes, will you guys support the Substance integration for Android / iOS ?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Bolanho,

Thank you very much for your patience while waiting for a response on this issue.

One day, perhaps, it will be supported on mobile. Right now the technology of the phones and other mobile devices can't handle much of what the engine has to offer. For instance, depth of field, different types of AA are not supported on mobile platforms.

I really can't give you a time for when this may happen. For now, you can see what materials and inputs are supported and plug them in manually.
