Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

My map has just deleted itself?

Hi all,

I was working on my map fine today in University, then I have taken it home, and suddenly my map is now an empty Untitled 1KB file on my Hard Drive. What has happened? I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, saved everything. It means I've lost a few weeks of hard work. Is there ANY way to get it back??,

is the map still present on your universities computer? What steps did you take to move the files? Does this occur on a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project?

It's not present on the computer, and it seems to have corrupted my whole hard drive. I'm unsure why this happened :s

What steps did you take to move the files? Have you run a virus scan on the drive to see if a virus was picked up from the university computer? Can you open any of the other files on your harddrive?
