Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to spawn an actor at player location with blueprint

Hey all,

So I've seen a lot of people asking this same question as I myself had no idea how to do this. A lot of people were showing various ways to get the player's location mathematically but this didn't work so well under every situation. I was watching Epic's UMG Inventory tutorial series and on video 6 the author (wish I knew his name so I could give him credit) showed a really awesome trick to simplify the process. You can do this with literally 4 nodes so I created a very quick video (6 mins) showing exactly how its done. Just wanted to spead the love. Again, all credit goes to the nameless Epic designer. Thank you!
