Can I run Unreal Engine 4 on this hardware?

I have:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 610/PCIe/SSE2 with GF119 architecture using 346.59 drivers
Intel® Core™ i3-3240 CPU @ 3.40GHz × 4
5,8 GiB RAm
OS: Linux Ubuntu 15.04

So- can I run UE4 and how much it will lag?

No comments and answers so long? Supspecious! Why don’t everyone tell me?

I am not an expert when it comes to computers but the only thing I can say is I find your RAM abit low. 16 could work better.

It should run it, but not on top of performance. UE4 is free so why don’t you just try it?

Read the System Requirements on the FAQ…

RAM is actually ok

Well, I am afraid if my computer GPU can burn so I am asking before taking risk- I am 14 years old, no income so I can’t buy new one and this one is actually my parents’ computer:(

Usually they’re a bit higher than actuall ones, but with theese ones I should expect it to not run. I am still hoping so I decided to ask!

The GPU can’t burn for a little stress.
Just try it.

It won’t if you didn’t overclock, GPUs should survive max stress on standard clock, the been designed to so. And besides they have overheat detection

OK! I hope so also on linux if they use propiretary drivers! By the way, I used the build from source code mthod to install, but in the last step(make UE4Editor) I had to stop it in middle proccess. Am I able to continue now or I will have to redo all the heavy, ver, very long proccess? Even my quadcore 3.4 GHz CPU is weak in this situation and gives me wait a LONG, long time!

OK! It looks like it continues the proccess! Good:)

You mean compiling? dont worry each cpp file is compiled to object files, if object file exist UBT won’t compile it again

So I can exit the compiling and linking whenever I need, right?

Currently I am compiling shaders, it looks quite laggy. I am not sure if it will run on more than 30 FPS, but that won’t be bad too:D

Usually RAM isn’t problem. In nowdays the most problem is GPU. I think my CPU is qite good, RAM: optional, but GPU: weak. However, the default FPS template runs at great FPS(don’t know where profiler is, but more than 24 FPS obiouvsly), but has a werid effect: it looks like it has a bit too less pixel rate or sth so it gets aliased and a bit blurred…
