Downloading previous engine versions

It has been many months and I am getting back to building my game

The last UE4 engine that launched it successfully was v4.4. as a subscriber.
When I convert it to 4.7 it will PIE but the launcher crashes.

I would like to try downloading the older engine versions and progressively updating/fixing my game.

I don’t see any older versions of the engine in the Epic Games Launcher (might change the name to Browser to avoid confusion with the editors launcher)

I know about the + button in the Engine version of the Library - nuttin honey!

How can I access the previous versions?

Thanks for your help,

Umberto

Hi Umberto,

You should be able to click the dropdown arrow beside of the version number and it will allow you to select whatever version you need. If you aren’t seeing this, please post a screenshot and we can continue to troubleshoot the issue.

Cheers,

TJ

here it is

Click the dropdown arrow on the engine version itself to change the version.

I don’t see 4.10.2 older versions of the engine in the Epic Games Launcher. How can I get Unreal version 4.10.2?

Hi ykk,

We only make the latest hotfix available for each of the engine versions. This is because it is the most stable version of that engine that you can get.

The only way to get a specific hotfix version is to build the source version of the engine directly from GitHub.

thanks for help.

you are a ■■■■■■■ saint. you saved my life. thank you.

Which version works with 3D Max and Maya 2011 ?
