What do I do if the installer fails to initialize

I’m currently stuck trying to install UE4, whenever I click to install it in the Epic Games Launcher, I receive a message that says “Installer Failed to Initialize” please help

Hi Rufio3469,

This error will usually occur if a required directory was not created successfully.

The log files should describe this. Could you attach a zip of the log folder?

PC here:
C:/Users/(username)/AppData/Local/EpicGamesLauncher/Saved/Logs

Mac here:
/Users/(username)/Library/Logs/Unreal Engine/EpicGamesLauncher
