Right now I have UE4.7.2 installed in my pc (Which is about 11.5 Gbs). I’m still learning the engine and I have no problems following the old tutorials. I have been ignoring the notifications to update my engine to latest version fearing that I would need to download the whole 10+ Gbs of files like when I first downloaded the UE4! Do updates costs me that much of data?
Updates are usually about a gig, I’m not sure if it will need to download this much for each one your missing. A new version is usually about 5GB. It’s smaller than the installation since it’s compressed and doesn’t have a lot of intermediates that the installation folder has.
If you’re really worried I would check the hotfix release notes in the forum and decide if you really need the fixes.
