Thx per advance for your help.

Hey ,

Are you using 4.8.0 Preview 1 to build and package your projects? Which web browser are you using to try and run your HTML5 game? Also, does this game run if you package it for Windows? I’m currently trying to open your HTML5 game on and it’s loading extremely slowly, so I’m wondering how detailed and large your game is that you’ve created?

Update:
Your game actually loaded in . It took quite a while due to the size of the game that’s been uploaded however it is functioning correctly.

Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!

I dont know why my reply donnt work so i do this again.

Before all thx for your reply.

I dont know version of my preview. BUT i cant explain how, my website work now.I dont modify this since my post on this forum but he works now … i dont know why. He works on Chrome and Firefox ( 37.0.2 ). But i got an ultimate problem ^^ !

5 friends test it, and only work on 4. On the last he has the same problem as me this night. After the donwloading nothing. He use Firefox and IE same problem each time so i think the problem is not the browser but maybe the certificate … .

For the slow download is normal ^^ my game is 332 Mo, so if you have a bad connection maybe you have to wait somes minutes. If you can try my link and post a feedback is rly cool.

Thx again for your reply.

Hey ,

Have you tried on Mozilla ? It’s a different version of FireFox in general. That’s what I am using.

It looks like the project you were using is quite large for HTML5, which is probably why it had such a long loading time. How long did it take your friends who were able to actually view it?

Hey ,

Yeah i tried on MFN but my game is for somes peoples and i think many of them use IE / Chrome or Firefox.

No no i told you my game is 332Mo so you have to DL 332 Mo if you have a normal connection and you dl at 300ko/s you can wait somes minutes, if you got fiber you have to wait few seconds.

5 Friends try it, and 4 work, 1 dont work.

4 Work on Firefox / Chrome and one dont work on firefox. I think the problem come to Certificate.

And you, you tried this ? Work or not ?

Thx for your help.

Up my error is " Assertion failed: Cannot call unknown function on_fatal (perhaps LLVM optimizations or closure removed it?) " Can you explain me why ?

Thx per advance

Hey ,

I am able to launch your game on . Unfortunately, Chrome does not launch this game at this time. has some backend code that they need to fix for HTML5 last I heard.

Could you tell me when and where you’re seeing the “Assertion failed: Cannot call unknown function on_fatal (perhaps LLVM optimizations or closure removed it?)” failure?

Thank you!

Hey It makes the good hear from you !

Well, about compatibility of Chrome / Safari / Opera, can you give me a date or more informations ?

This message appears on Firefox in random use … for fix it, i have to replace my HTML5 Folider in production by a clean copy HTML5 in my database, and its works again.

Hey ,

Chrome has an issue on their end that they have to resolve for HTML5. Opera 21 isn’t one of the supported browsers currently and Safari isn’t supported just yet either. I unfortunately do not have any estimated time frames on when these will be implemented.

FireFox or are your best options currently.

Have a wonderful day.

No estimate time … my day is not wonderful then ^^!

So for the moment HTML5 from Unreal engine 4 work only on Firefox or right ?

That was my last question, thx for you help and have a nice day too.

Hey ,

FireFox and are the best browsers to use at this time for HTML5. Opera 21 is not supported yet, neither is Safari. Unfortunately, changed some of their back-end workings for HTML5 which has caused some issues. We’re waiting for them to fix that at this time.

Thanks!
