Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

4.8 Preview 1 - Create Landscape LayerInfo Crash

When creating a new landscape, as soon as I try to create a LayerInfo (Weight-Blended or Non Weight-Blended), or even when i try to import external height layers, UE4 crashes.

I've created a new blank project with no starter content, stripped down my landscape material to only have 2 Base Color Texture Samples and 2 Layer Weights.

I just noticed that I CAN create the Landscape Layer Info and import external layers after I create/import my landscape, I just can't do it via the "New Landscape" window.

Hi akka,

I was able to reproduce this on my end and have entered a bug report, UE-15159 to be assessed by the development staff.
