Deactivating particle system attached to character

I have a particle system attached to my character (so it snows no matter where the character goes). Anyone know how to deactivate the particle system when the character goes inside? I can set up a box trigger (like this - YouTube ) but it only deactivates the one in the world, not the one thats attached to the character.

Any ideas?

Hey Cole,

Have you tried setting up two trigger boxes, one to activate and one to deactivate? This would work well if you put the trigger boxes in front of the doors. Even if you were to load levels in-between buildings, you could set the boxes up at the entrance/exit of the door on either side which would work the same way.
