Whenever I make a ribbon trail in my particle systems, the ribbon follows most of the particles, but it also will go crazy and render lines all over the place. I’m not sure if it’s exactly clear in the image, but the particles are moving to the left and the trails are both following the particles and making those straight lines. Even when I start over from scratch using the ribbon trail tutorial, I get the same results.
I’m currently using 4.7 and can’t recall having this issue in 4.6, but maybe there’s just something I’ve missed. Help?
