Hello !
I have downloaded UE 4.8 yesterday. Today I want to try it but when I click on “launch”, nothing happened.
In the task manager I can see “UE4Editor.exe”.

Sorry, I thing it’s a double post bug.

Hi el kayzer. Being a preview build, there are more than likely a few bugs that come along with 4.8 right now.

One known bug is that you must have downloaded and launched a previous engine version(4.7.6 would work) before the 4.8.0 preview build will launch.

So try downloading 4.7.6 and opening it up. No need to create a new project or leave it open. Once it has been launched, 4.8.0 will launch every time after that. You can even uninstall 4.7.6 at that point if you wish.

Keep in mind, if you uninstall the Epic Games Launcher, you will likely have to go through this process again.
