Connect to dedicated server : Connection timedout

Hello, I have a Server.exe created according to this tutorial : A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums
running on a AWS free windows server 2012 R2.

When trying to connect to it from my PC using the console command open 52.4.98.174, after 20-30 seconds, the client’s map reload and I get a timedout error in the log.
Nothing in the server.exe log appears when I try to connect to it.

When testing locally, everything works like a charm.

I use Development and win64 to package.

I attached the Server and client logs. I use port 135 to connect as we had difficulties opening port 7777.
Portcheckers online does show 135 as open.

I’m really stuck with this and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Thank you,

It took a lot of time and effort, but I reached the same point. I am using UE4 4.9.2 and AWS to run a dedicated server on an EC2 micro instance. It appears to be running, but I have yet to successfully connect with the client. See attached screen captures. Any insight or suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks, Douglas
