Locking 2D Camera Z-Axis

I’m working on a 2D sidescroller. I’d like my camera to follow my character, but not in the Z-axis. When she jumps or climbs, I don’t want the camera to go up and down with her. I’m not sure how to do this. I currently have her set up with a spring arm, but I imagine that might be a problem.
