Turning foliage on and off- having foliage versions or bake folliage to mesh group?

I’m using folliage tu preview different crowd situations (adding people dumies in specific places) it looks nice, but I’d like to have this different versions of the crowd within the runtime… the folliage seems not to be an editable object, also it’s not possible even to delete a sub object of the folliage system… any ideas on this one?

After lots of learning i found the correct way of working with multiple folliage objects is via “load stream level”. Hope it helps some one.
