Animation issue help please

(Didnt know where to post it tho its a issue with animations so I thought I would post it here)

So I have added a axe into my UDK project and parented it to the hand (Screenshot - 02f9650e397ca34e712e2d74cdc6fc19 - Gyazo), when he is standing still and jumping the axe looks fine but when he is running the axes rotates and doesn’t look right, how can I stop the axe from rotating when his running?

What are you attaching it to? A socket or the bone?

Can you send a picture of the bone highlighted? I think that is a finger bone. You wan to attach to the Hand bone, like “hand_r”.
