I recently bought and downloaded the unreal engine 4 and started up the content examples. But when the editor loads, everything is lagging terribly, and I’m having a low framerate. I have a GTX 760 graphics card and 4 core i7 CPU so that shouldn’t be the problem. I also tried turning all the settings to medium, but it din’t help much.
Tried setting the editor to Low and (I’m assuming you’re using Windows) giving the process high priority? It might help posting your DXDIAG or you systems equivalent.
I managed to fix it. The problem was that the graphics card wasen’t being used, so I had to enable it in the NVIDIA settings.
Thank you! enabling my NVIDIA card to work with the engine fixed my lag. You may have to do this after NVIDIA updates because thats when my problem started
