Error: {ERR-001} [Session] REJECTED: OVRService did not authorize us: Incompatible protocol version

Hello mate, i am using 4.7.5 and as you can see, i am having problem with OVRService, i can’t create a blank project and package it using project launcher without run into the above error, but i can package the template project just fine(vehicle), using the same package launcher with the same setting. So, is this the engine fault or did i miss anything? Thank you very much and looking forward to any answer.

Hi CKong,

OVRService is related to the Oculus. The very next line after that error is:

Please make sure your OVRService and
SDK are both up to date.

Have you done so? For reference, here is the Oculus Rift Development for UE4. You might also check the Oculus support for this particular error, as I am unable to find a similar problem or reference to it on the UE4 end.

Hello mate, thank you for your answer. I have updated my SDK to the lasted version, but right now i don’t have time to test it with unreal. So if you could wait for around 1 or 2 more days, i will give you the result (pinky promise). Sorry about this and thank you for your time and effort. Have a good day mate.

Hello mate, sorry for the late answer, seem like i have been able to build my project without problem after updated my SDK. Thank you for your patience and help.
