Any Nexus 7 deployment success?

I can see that the Nexus 5 is supported per the compatibility page:

Has anyone successfully deployed/debugged on a Nexus 7? I’m looking to pick up an android device to do my development on, and the Nexus 7 seems to have really similar specs to the Nexus 5 and also runs on a supported GPU (Adreno 320).

The Kindle Fire HDX also seems like an option for me, as well, but I can see that it’s also a descent candidate seeing that the compatibility page clearly states that it is supported and will perform better in the future. I probably posted this question a little too soon.

I have a first generation Nexus 7 and managed to launch Swing Ninja and Tappy Chicken on it. The scores were missing in Swing Ninja but other than that it played perfectly. No joy yet with my Galaxy Note II; the apps launch with a black screen and then close.

Also haven’t managed to launch any of the more complex example projects yet.
